Worcester, MA more cities

Worcester is located in Central Massachusetts approximately 45 miles west of Boston, and is the second-largest city in New England after Boston. Over the years, Worcester has evolved into an education, medical and research center. Worcester is also home to many colleges. Among the institutions of higher education are Worcester State College, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Assumption College, Clark University, the College of the Holy Cross, the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and Becker College to name a few. Several museums can be found in Worcester including the American Antiquarian Museum, Worcester Art Museum, Armory Museum and the EcoTarium.
