Maxs Outboard

Maxs Outboard in Weymouth is second rate. i bought a used 8HP evinrude from them. It ran ok after you got it started but it was always hard to start. Then I discovered they did not use a stainless steel cotter pin to secure the prop on. Stupid. I had to drill the old iron cotter pin out to replace it with a SS one. Furhtermore, the pin used to adjust the angle relative to the transom was ols not SS and was rusted after only one season. Clearly they cut corners and the customer pays the price
