Wellesley Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Arthur Shektman of Wellesley Cosmetic Surgery is a board-certified plastic surgeon with specialized training for performing face-lifts, breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lifts, eyelid surgery, liposuction, and tummy tucks. He is also qualified and experienced in various types of reconstructive surgery to restore body parts to their natural form after an accident, injury, or congenital birth defects.

Doctor Shektman is a graduate of Brandeis University in Boston. After completing his undergraduate education, he entered Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. On graduating medical school in 1990, he remained at Hahnemann University to complete his general surgery residency. He served as Chief Resident in Surgery from 1994 to 1995. After finishing his training as a general surgeon, Dr. Shektman entered the Plastic Surgery residency at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City in 1995, a program considered one of the ten best in the United States. He served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery from 1996 to 1997 and after graduating has moved back to Massachusetts to enter private practice in Wellesley.

Doctor Shektman is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts.
