The Bird Store is a one of a kind store and not for shoppers whose ideal is Walmart. If you want the best seed that the birds will really eat and quality crafted items for nature including optics, then there is no better place to shop. If you want knowledge about birding places or solutions to problems, that is just part of the high quality service you can expect. This store has very loyal customers who have come to value diversity rather than warehouse stores.

I've shopped at Bill & Nancy's store since they opened in Sturbridge and find both the selection and customer service excellent. It feels like a neighborhood store and there's always something fun and interesting going on. They open up their store for doing Christmas Bird Counts and share their genuine concern for nature...including the baby squirrels they often raise. I don't go through Sturbridge without stopping!

THEY USED TO HAVE VERY NICE EMPLOYEES BUT THE OWNERS ARE RUDE AND LOUD TO THE POINT WHERE YOU DON'T EVEN WANT TO STEP IN THE STORE IF THEY ARE THE OLNY ONES THERE WORKING WHEN ASKING FOR HELP I HAVE HEARD THE OWNER TELL PEOPLE "LOKK WITH YOUR EYES AND NOT YOUR MOUTH" THEN TURNED AND IGNORED THE CUSTOMERS LAUGHING .WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL!!!GO TO WALMART INSTEAD!
