Garden Nail & S in Stoneham is a Nightmare. I am writing about the terrible experience I had on 5/18/09. Vicky started the pedicure by having me put my feet into the water and without removing the clear polish from my toenails started scraping the cuticles and polish off. I told her I had clear polish on and then she removed it. Next she started to quickly cut my toenails, which I never have cut at the spa (only filed), but before I could say anything she had cut my big toenail shorter than it has ever been cut before and cut into the corner of the skin on my toe. When I said OWW…she said sorry, sorry, it’s not bleeding. Now I was upset because I didn’t want to have ingrown toenails at which point she told me that I already had ingrown toenails in my big toes! She said I asked you if you wanted them cut however, she never did ask. Next she applied polish while asking me if I wanted to come back tomorrow for my manicure! I told her no I was there now and wanted to get it now. After applying the polish to my toenails then she started to apply the lotion to my legs for a massage (which she had skipped before applying the polish)! Next I moved to the manicure station where she proceeded to do the manicure and she again cut my skin on my middle finger! By now I was pissed off and told her I had never been to a spa that massaged legs (no foot massage) after polish was applied to feet. She said it was so the polish could dry. I asked her what her name was and she told me Vicky. My Mother has a gift certificate and I wanted to be sure that she did not go to her. At that point she told me don’t tell her to come to me I’m no good! I’m only here for two more weeks! While waiting for my manicure to dry she asked me if I would leave with the paper shoes on my feet because it was getting late!
Do NOT let 'Jimmy' do your nails; he's clumsy, too quick and does not pay attention to detail. He really does not do a very good job; would not ever go back there if he's there.
