Quincy Police Department

Last Friday night May 2nd at the Varsity Club the officer there was rude, disrespectful and obnoxious. Swearing at patrons and insulting them while he was hanging out with what appeared to be friends as if he was trying to pretend he was some high-school big shot laughing at freshman. I thought these people are suppose to serve and protect. I was appalled by his behavior and more surprised at the Varsity Club's allowance of this behavior, after patrons there had spent money to watch live entertainment and give their business. There were several "almost fights" in which the patrons themselves broke up any possible altercations while the officer sat in the back, not paying any attention to what was going on. I will not be going back there again or to the town of Quincy any time soon. -DJones
