Petrillos Italian Kitchen

Petrillos Italian restaurant in Peabody is my favorite restaurant, by far! It is family owned and operated, and is full of great staff. I don't know where to start. The bar is upstairs, but we go for the food! It is romantic, dimly lit and the meals are huge and tasty. You normally need a reservation in advance. I love their caesar salad and Scott can't get enough of the chicken parm! The other side of the restaurant is take out. OMG! The food is just as good as the restaurant, and they offer a variety of salads and subs. It is so inexpensive, I am talking about 8 bucks for a chicken parm dinner that feeds at least two people! The food is fresh and flavorful. I may be raving, but I have never had a bad experience there. Oh, and just this weekend we got takeout and they had a stuffed artichoke appetizer. I wish i could get the recipe...it was stuffed with capers, ricotta, roasted reds, and wrapped in prucioutto! AMAZING. If you live anywhere on the North shore, or not...just GO, totally worth the drive.
