Tartufo Restaurant in Newton Center is OVERPRICED, has 3rd rate wine at absurd prices, is noisy, and food quality and service is spotty at best. Advice: Drive right by it.. Chef Dante does not normally do the cooking, some low paid "coolies" apparently do and it shows in the spotty quality ... The "chef" is trying to get rich off clientele who do not know good Italian food and cannot cook.. Yours in Christ, PASTOR FAZU

This restaurant is amazing. I have never had a dish here I did not like, in fact, everything tastes delicious. I highly recommend it for parties as well-we had a friends 50th here and the buffet gave us an opportunity to try many dishes. The best Italian food around.
