The Chicken Box is an unpretentious, friendly and relaxing place to enjoy fun and live music. National as well as local acts play at The Chicken Box. Most bands begin at 10pm and end their set at 1am, with a short break in between. We also have TV, foosball and pool and we serve beer, wine and spirits.

We sell advance tickets for some national acts. These can only be purchased at the bar. Tickets go on sale one week prior. We can hold tickets at will call. Requests for will call tickets must be submitted to jordin@thechickenbox.com. For most nights, the cover charge ranges from $7 to $10. Entrance is on a first come first served basis.

The Chicken Box aka "the box" is such a staple in Nantucket. A place that you say you are sick of but still love to stroll in after a few drinks. Great live music makes dancing and sing along a sure thing in the summer months. The place gets really packed so make sure you dont get there too late. And the one really annoying thing about the place is that they DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS. I believe there is an atm in there though. Regardless, you will have a blast at "the box"!!
