Ok.... People need to get a life! Bobby C's is a great place. Yes there is a wait and yes it is loud, but it is a restaurant and if you come on a Friday or a Saturday you are going to find lots of people. The food is really good and worth the wait and the service is just as good. If money is an issue the serving size of an entree is big enough for two and you can share and also the apps are large enough to serve as an entree. I have to give Julie the owner credit. She opened up a beautiful italian restaurant in Melrose in memory of her Dad who I am sure is really proud of her. People keep nit picking about ridiculous things that really should not even matter. Again the food is excellent and I know that the cooks put their heart and sole into preparing a meal suited for a King!!! So if you want a good italian meal go to Bobby C's and you wont regret it. Also check out their new lunch menu it is unbelievable!!!!

STAY AWAY SAVE YOUR TIME AND CASH!!!!!!!!!!! service needs a lot of work - crazy wait times- place is to small- not worth the wait to get mediocre food which is over priced.the beer was warm and coke was waterdowned. julie the owner plays games with her "reservations". she lets in who she wants and let walk ins wait for hours. I WITNESSED IT FIRST HAND , THEY NEVER CHECK THEIR BOOK!!!!!!!!! i guess you have to be in her " in crowd" to get in.you are better going to the the outback, polcaris or sylvan street grille which appreciates your valued business. HOPE THIS PLACE CLOSES SOON!!!!!!!i love going out to eat and usually enjoy myself. i never complain much but this place takes the cake. it is worth going to the north end for a real meal . this place is second class, dont let let them treat you that way. i only tried it because it is new and a local place. if i wanted to play games ill go to six flags. i have never felt so compelled to leave a review. 99 % of the time i enjoy myself. most restaurants work hard to get your business. this snobby joint is not worth the bother!

- decor is very nice, though music is too loud - service needs a lot of work-- waitress spilled oil all over the table and it took a solid 10 minutes to get a water refill - food is mediocre (too pricey for what you get), never hot enough, spelling mistakes on the menu, and more often than not what you order is not what you get - my advice? spend the same amt. of money at the north end and get yourself some authentic Italian food.

Long wait...cannot get a drink at the "bar"...servers do not acknowledge your presence....ever! Food pricey....meals expensive but not worth the price....We have dined on our second occasion and more than likely will not go back...we are disappointed with our meals quality...Service is pleasant but the waitress told me my pasta was separate in a red sauce, which I wanted....she was so nice I never mentioned my disappointment. My Chicken dinner was "boiled" but the rest was fabulous! My husband had a great meal as did our mother-in-law! Customer Service and attention FABULOUS...if the chef details can be ironed out, this business will be be phenomenal and we will be the best customers

I think the service and the food is terrific. The salad dressing in a plastic container is a little bit of a turnoff,though. It is a little pricey also. I would like to see a smaller portion at a lesser price.

food was good but the waitress staff need some improvement.this was my 2nd time there and the waitress messed up about 10 times.That would make me not want to come back...sorry
