City of Malden

Who ever wrote this article needs to get there head examined. Malden is one of the worst places in the country never mind state to raise a family. The traffic is so bad it takes 20 min to get from one side of the city to the other. There is no where you can park in the whole city. The taxes are ridiculous. The home prices are too high along with the rents. Malden residents have to pay to get rid of there trash (The Pay As You Throw program, passed by the City Council with a 7 to 4 vote on June 26, requires residents to dispose of their trash in bags approved by the city. Each 33-gallon bag costs $2; a 15-gallon bag, which won't be available until January, will cost $1.) This Big city doesn’t even have there own hospital so good luck if you need medical assistance. Malden schools system is one of the worst I have seen, yes they spent millions on the new schools and there so called telecom city disaster maybe they should have put 10% of that toward new teachers. There is no Christmas in the new schools but there is happy Hanukah happy kwanza and happy holidays. I had a first hand experience at my daughters Holliday sing-along. The politicians are easily bought off. I tried to open a basic office in this city it was denied due to supposed zoning even though there was a beauty salon a print shop a drug store and a currier service in the same building. I paid those bums 700.00 to appeal and then they let me have my office. Some how one of there city counselors was able to easily turn a transmission shop into a bar overnight. Good news is we can get rid of them all every 12 years after they get vested with there free insurance 4 life. How soon we forget the glory holes of the Malden city hall bathrooms where gays performed sexual acts and street bums frequented and children from the nearby schools used. Let us not forget about the removal and sale of a Bell from the church tower of the proposed senior center. This was a piece of history which had existed over a hundred years ringing in the end of wars and historical community events. The bell could have been saved for approximately $5000.00, that’s less than 10 cents a person Did you also know that according to Malden ordnance if you live in Malden and you find you’re in need of a limo and you use a cheap company from lets say Revere that your limo can be pulled over towed the driver ticketed and you kicked out. Yes this is true, look it up you cannot use or call any Taxi or Livery not licensed in Malden this is the only city in Mass that has this law. What’s next no outside pizza or home heating oil? “Mayor Howard the Coward” should be ashamed, that hippie needs to stop trying to cover up his dirty streets by planting flowers. Stop and smell the roses in Malden and you will find they smell like trash and at 2.00 per 33gal bag get your wallet open. From city corruption to dirty streets Malden is the last place to raise a family or for that matter a dog. I could tell you story after true story fact after fact about how bad it truly is. I wonder did the person who wrote this article even go to Malden Mass or was this article meant for Malden Missouri. “Some Malden residents are surprised at the city's latest distinction” I wonder why? On the bright side Malden is a great place to live if you happen to live in one of there 3 projects and drive a Lexus that you can park in your own private space off the street …it’s a wonderful life.
