Reconsider L.
Beaver Brook Farm in Holliston is not an ideal place for young riders serious about developing riding skills or horsemanship skills. The owner's leadership is primarily to make money vs. building a farm with a solid reputation of good trainers, riders, comradery, and horse care. The previous head trainer moved out of state this year and was the sole reason to be there. New head trainer doesn't have a stellar reputation in terms of horse care. Do not consider this farm unless you're an adult horse owner and the location's convenient to allow for frequent check-in or you have a very young rider just starting out and testing the waters. Beautiful facility. Do not be fooled. Web site says it all -- photos showcase the beautiful facility, the owner, previous trainers, no student photos, all pretty much outdated and basically an after thought. Compare this to other farm web sites such as Saddle Rowe in Medway, Rising Star in Medway, August Farm in Ashland. Lots of comradery there! All by the way good farms with good reputations.

A Happy Boarder V.
Beaver Brook Farm in Holliston is a wonderful place to learn to ride, improve your riding or to excel in your riding. The trainers are excellent. If you are lucky enough to own your own horse? Board him/her here. The owner is accommodating and easy to deal with and cares very much about the horses and her boarders and all who enjoy her facility. It's also, just a beautiful place to be!
