NOT your usual franchise conglomerate: owned and operated by genuine book-lovers, superior service, selection features great variety and quality. The little cafe is always busting out with visitors. I'm on their email list for a broad range of author readings, etc.

For such a small store they have a very impressive selection. I read about a new book in a recent issue of WIRED and wanted to go get it. But I didn't want to truck all the way to a Borders. I called Porter Square Books and they said they had it in stock and would hold it for me. I was very happy! I walked right over and got it 10 minutes later! I consider myself a new loyal customer! Check out Cambridge Naturals, next door to them!
