Porter Square is a neighborhood of Cambridge, MA, at the intersection of Massachusetts and Somerville Avenues, and is located between Harvard and Davis Squares. The Porter Square station is a busy subway and commuter rail stop. Porter Square was named after the old Porter House Hotel, home of the original Porter House steak. Porter Square is also home to Lesley University as well as numerous Japanese retail shops and restaurants.
