Cafe Fixe Coffeehouse

Best espresso, I was visiting some family in Brookline and stopped in on a cold day. Nice atmosphere, great coffee. Owner told me he just opened a few weeks ago what a great place. I travel abroad a lot and it is nice to see little cafes are still around. Starbucks in not real coffee.

A week old and already Best in Boston in my book! Phenomenal espresso and lattes. Espressos are triple ristrettos -- crema heaven for those who like straight espresso. I wanted another, it was that good. They not only carry a standard house bean, but they also have a "guest espresso" which will be rotating. A nice touch. And the latte art is merely a bonus atop a latte as good as I've had in this country. They are going to cost me a lot, because I live 3 mins away and their espressos are the only ones in Boston that I like better than my own!!
