DanceSport Academy of New England, the Boston area's hottest full-service ballroom dance studio, co-owned by New England dance champions Kari Hyytinen and Anne Heiermann.
Dance Sport Academy will provide superior dance instruction to students of all ages, levels, and abilities. Encouraging interaction between dance students through parties, planned trips, and practice sessions. DanceSport promotes health and fitness through dance and encourages their students to develop self-confidence and better self-expression through dance. I use to get told that I was hard girl to dance with because I had the tendency to take lead when I shouldn't. So for my brothers wedding when I knew there was going to be some very cute men it was time for me to learn to just follow. So I signed up for a few classes and told them my problem, they laughed (in a cute way) and said they would take care of me! I had so much fun!!! and even lost a few pounds : ) So my dance moves have may have been a little over shined by the bride but thats ok, i was confident and had one of the best times of my life dancing the night away! THANKS SO MUCH!

Kari & Anne are not only talented dancers, but are also have a rare talent for teaching what they know--and making you the best dancer you can possibly be! I took lessons from many different teachers, while I was studying ballroom, and while all of them were good dancers, with much knowledge to share, none of them were as good at zooming in on *exactly* what you needed to do to resolve a problem with a step as Kari. I studied with Kari for 5 years--and would highly recommend him and Anne, and their studio to anyone interested in studying ballroom dance.
