Zenna Noodle Bar

I took my mom here for mothers day for a late lunch and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to take someone. Its a little more upscale than most of the college type places you'll find in Coolidge Corner so its a nice change of pace. The food was excellent. I had the drunken noodle which has just enough spice to make it known but not so much as to overpower the dish. My mother had the pad thai which I tried and enjoyed that as well. Both dishes we sampled were nice and light with no heavy sauces which is how I prefer it. We also had the orange tea which was a nice change of pace from the typical green tea usually served at these types of places. The tea was light and somewhat sweet and served with a lemon. The wait staff was very polite and prompt but not over eager. Again I recommend this place to anyone looking for something a bit nicer than your average fare in Coolidge Corner.

On a rainy cold night I was trying to figure out where to grab a bite to eat in the neighborhood. So we tried this small cozy Vietnamese Fusion restaurant in Coolidge Corner. The staff and owner were very polite, making sure everything was ok. Place was still packed at 9:30 on a Friday night, we were able to snag the last table in the corner. If you like spice, I recommend the Drunken Noodle, since moving to Boston I have been trying to find a place like back home that can compare to the drunken noodle and have finally found it. Everything is extremely reasonably priced. They only serve beer and wine. However, it is not that kind of establishment that up charges a bottle of wine 4 times the price. Great for a date or dinner out with the friends. I highly recommend trying the Zenna Noodle Bar if you have not been here.
