What I like about the Savant Project besides the uniquely put together deserts, is the fact that they feature a new local artist's work on the walls every month.
After hearing all the buzz about the Savant project I finally decided to take the trek out to Mission Hill to have dinner and drinks last night. This is what I observed....upon arrival it's small but in a good stylishly cozy way, the menu is also small on a single sided page broken into two categories Tapas and Entrees, the cocktail and wine list is extensive and very reasonably priced.
I had the Sangria, not to be confused with the Mangria on the menu which is some sort manly sangria made with Yukon Jack, however the regular sangria was DIVINE!!! seriously it ranks up with some of the best Sangria I have ever had. In fact even if the food was not good, which it was, I would go back to the Savant Project just for the Sangria. So about the food i had some tapas and my friend had the Savant Project's claim to fame Burger with blue cheese baked into the burger...both very good.
All in all I would most certainly go back to the Savant Project!
The savant project is a great place to take a date; Its cozy and intimate. It is great to see this type of restaurant in the Mission Hill area. Usually I would expect to see a restaurant of this caliber in the heart of the South End.
Over all I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and Ive already recommended it to a couple of my friends.
