I love the place. We needed something like this in East Boston, but, the bartenders.... NAAAAAA... i was specting someone more polite and friendly. The manager could do much better hiring other people.... I have recommendations if you like.

Ecco offers a great atmosphere in terms of the structure. Although the menu sounds interesting the food presentation and flavor are not the best. The fried calamari dish was very greasy , overcooked with a crust coming appart. The martini drinks were not well made at all. Bartenders should be more customer oriented.

Well old manager or not, this place is exactly what East Boston needs! Finally a nice Martini Bar that the locals can go to instead of hiking Downtown. Ecco Restaurant just opened and not only is it a nice setting but the food and drinks are delish! I'm a sucker for girly drinks and the White Peach Bellini was right up my alley. My friend raved about her Chocolate Martini too. The food was great and reasonable priced. The same meal you'll get here for $15 would easily cost you $30 downtown. If you haven't tried Ecco out yet better get there quick before everyone else finds out!

This place might have had half a chance except the guy who owns it treated the girl he had managing the place like a piece of dirt. She has a huge following and years of experience. something thing this guy completlley lacks. The chefs claim to fame is working at places that have gone under and the new mananger a 20 something kid has almost no experience whatsoever. I give this place 6 months and it will be for sale or closed. I was shocked when I called to make a reservation and found out Robin had left. You guys lost a real gem. what the hell where you thinking?
