The leather District, occasionally referred to as the "LD", composes about a two block radius in Boston. Located between Chinatown , Downtown and South Station, in the recent decade the Leather District, which is a compilation of old leather factories transformed into residential and commercial uses, has emerged as a distinct Boston neighborhood. **Locals and tourists will find great restaurants, cafes and shopping destinations.
