Atmospheric Charlestown tavern is steeped in history. - Contributor
In Short Located in the heart of historic Charlestown, not far from Bunker Hill, the Warren Tavern dates back to 1780 and was reportedly a favorite watering hole of Paul Revere. Today, casually-dressed area residents use the tavern as a neighborhood hangout, watching the Sox and dining on sturdy comfort fare (angus burgers, porterhouse pork chops, stuffed quahogs). Live music is featured on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and weekend brunch service proves popular.
