The Grand Canal

The Grand Canal, named after an 80-mile waterway built to connect the Dublin to the Shannon and Barrow River, is an Irish pub with an upscale twist. Located just 200 yards away for the TD Bank Garden, The Grand Canal is filled with fifty-inch plasmas and surround sound. This bar has become a sports entertainment mecca for your night or pre/post Garden event.

After dark, The Grand Canal hosts some of Boston's best cover bands. Whether rocking out to your favorite hits from the 80s or some more current hits, their bands cover it all. In between sets, The Grand Canal's in-house DJ keeps the party moving.

This place is very cool...the atmosphere is rustic, an old oak bar and a very defined wood decor make it old fashioned. Watch out for Celts and bruins games, the place becomes a mob scene and barely navigable. it could be a place to meet the "one" since my buddy met his wife there. Definitely a place to grab a beer.

I've always dug hangin and having a beer here but the other night I finally ate dinner and it was great. I expected typical pub food but I was pleasantly surprised. I had spinach dip and then the steak tips and I was blown away. Maybe the best bar food I've had in Boston. Oh, and I was there during the previous reviewer's 30th party... it did look like a great time!

Had a 30th birthday party for my fiance in the upper loft. What a hidden jem. Staff was very curtious and the buffet I purchased was great. Highly recommend! Thanks guys!!!
