Erbaluce Restaurant

Erbaluce is the newest restaurant in hidden Bay Village, Boston near the Theater District. Chef/ Owner Charles Draghi has previously been applauded for his work at Marcuccio's , Limbo, "33", L’espalier, Ambrosia and Tangiers restaurants.

At Erbaluce, Chef Charles Draghi uses the freshest of ingredients to create a new menu daily using local suppliers whenever possible. Drawing from his Italian heritage, Draghi creates light flavorful dishes. Instead of butter or cream, the dishes at Erbaluce are created with herbs and flavor infused liquids. An award winning hand picked wine list is also available at Erbaluce.

Private dining rooms and gift certificates are available at Erbaluce

Menu

Although their menu changes almost daily, the Rack of Wild Boar is quickly becoming one of Erbaluce's signature dishes. The carefully chosen blend of Juniper and Lavender along with Chef Draghi's unique technique of roasting the meat over walnut shells, and adding a complimentary element of Wild Concord Grape mosto, makes this a dish you will not easily forget. And because the boar is actually wild, and not farm-raised, it has a dense, meaty texture that can satisfy the most hearty carnivore.

Enoteca

Erbaluce now has a new Enoteca (Bar) menu! There are some great new additions to the already crowd-pleasing Enoteca Menu. Drop in and try the BEST honey-glazed, lemon and white pepper veal ribs in the world for the "luxe" price of $6! A complimentary finger bowl for all of the sticky-sweet goodness is served with every order.

Erbaluce offers a separate menu of locally harvested shellfish dishes, every Tuesday night in the Enoteca, which highlights the best of the ocean's bounty that's in the market. There will be some beautiful, floral, and interestingly spicy single varietal red and white wines from Piemonte, as well as some gorgeous rosatos, specially selected to accompany these dishes, available by both the glass and by the bottle. And all at a friendly," mom and the family" price. And don't forget, our house made sodas from fresh fruit juices and purees. Like the spiced pear, mulled apple cider, black currant, tangerine, honey-lemon, cherry, and coffee-spice, as well as sodas for the kids and non-drinkers.

Tasting Menu

Erbaluce's "just have Chuck feed us" tasting menus are gathering speed again. The 5 or 7 course offerings are impromptu and can be enjoyed with or without wine pairings. This was by far the most popular way for people to dine in the past (at Marcuccio's in the North End) and over the last few months, repeat Guests have caught on to this enjoyable way to dine once again. So, the next time you're dining at Erbaluce, tell your waiter to "just have Chuck feed us", and sit back and relax - they'll do the rest.

Not in the mood for a big meal? Not a problem. Join us in the Enoteca and enjoy a more relaxed, easy 3 (or 4) course menu matched with some very interesting, rare wines. The Enoteca Tasting with wine is available every night except Saturday for only $40 per person!

The Green Room @ Erbaluce

Did you know that Chef Draghi is an accomplished Playwright? And because of this, he just so happens to have lots of cool, playwright friends such as Beth Kustor, former Editor of Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, and Glamour Magazines, who dropped in to give a taste of her new work, "The Last Superhero," read by a couple of Boston's best stock reading actors. If you like theatre, cinema, the movies, short stories, books, or anything of the sort, come to Erbaluce on Tuesday Nights for "The Green Room @ Erbaluce."

Erbaluce Restaurant in Bay Village is EXELLENT. I did not know this place was open until my husband made reservations for our 18th year anniversary; we had our first date here when it was called Mario’s (1992). It brought back so many good memories. The service and food was outstanding from the appetizers pasta top with duck egg yolk and truffel to the main course (rabbit). We are definitely going back.
