Stephanie's on Newbury

Stephanie's On Newbury has been an institution in the heart of Boston's Back Bay since it's opening in 1994. The upscale Newbury Street location offers shoppers, tourists, business travelers, and locals alike a hearty meal in a cozy banquette or street-side with a perfect view for people-watching.

Owner Stephanie Sokolove serves sophisticated comfort food in a relaxed and welcoming environment. After an extensive remodeling project in 2000, Stephanie's now welcomes you with a large bar area just inside the foyer. There are several dining areas, including two first-floor dining rooms, a second-story sky-lit dining area and a seasonal outdoor sidewalk.

Stephanie's is open for lunch, light afternoon fare, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Chef Sokolove calls her cuisine sophisticated comfort food, incorporating salads, pastas, meats, fish and chicken into her seasonal menus.

Chef de cuisine Corey Comeau collaborates on the menus, which showcase his upscale American cooking with Californian and Asian influences. Signature dishes include Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese, Lobster Pot Pie and Seared Tuna Salad.
