I don't know why I didn't go to James Joseph sooner! I love this place! The staff there are wonderful and professional and really take into consideration what you are looking for in a hairstyle. They aren't afraid to say, yeah, that might not work, how about "this?" I also noticed that everyone was working hard and paying attention to their customers. They were talking and having fun with each other, but not gossiping about their other clients or making you feel like you were interrupting just by sitting there. I have been to salons where I have been privy to strange and personal information of other clients and always wondered what was said about me when I walked out the door. Its affordable, great color and cuts and great staff, if you are in the market for a new stylist (or even if you aren't), go to this salon! I book with Emily. She's amazing!

Awesome place. I love Lindsay! The hair cut is awesome and I get compliments after 6 or 7 weeks!!!! It is great. Defintely the best hair cut for under $50!

I'm a guy who never knows what he wants in a haircut, but knows when it's right. This is the kind of place where they always know how to get it right. If I'm married to something my stylist Kashmir'll recommend mixing it up, and for me, to have an actual conversation about my hair is a big deal. For that, I'd give it a glowing review. But on top of that they saved my girlfriend's life. She got a crappy highlight job at her regular place and I was telling Kash about it and she said to bring her in and she'd fix it. I didn't want to tell my girlfriend to get a whole new cut for more money but they did it for cheap and did an awesome job. Professional, fun and instant friends. This place is amazing.

This is probably the only studio in Boston where you can get a $150 haircut for under $50. make sure to try and book with Igor. He is phenomenal!!! His cuts last for over six month and keep the perfect "just out of a salon" shape. I've been going there since the place opened.

Great staff... great haircut! I can't recommend it enough.I just switched and I plan on staying with James Joseph Studio.
