This chic hair mecca boasts winsome, personalized service and unique treatments and products. - Alison Bulman
The Scene Stepping into Beaucage is like happening upon a photo shoot. Women who look like supermodels simultaneously answer phones and take your name while urban beats pulse in the background. White transparent curtains sweep across giant front windows down to a shiny wood floor. Clients in black smocks recline on modern furniture, their hair in foils and paper while reading ritzy fashion magazines. Black-clad stylists fuss over women toting expensive Gucci bags, tattooed 20-somethings and foreign college-age girls.
The Services A haircut here is a must, thanks to master stylists who take time for personal instruction in the art of blow-drying and styling (and who are very receptive to your personal preferences). The all-organic Eminence facial is a sensual delight and includes an extensive facial massage, administered in a calming white room with a classical music backdrop. Brazilian wax is a popular treatment as well.
A wonderful retreat into a peaceful existence. Everyone is very outgoing and friendly. very attentive to your needs. the stylists are all exceptional. I followed Troy here from another Newbury Street salon. i've never regretted it. He is an expert at colors and cuts. The salon offers a large variety of hair and facial products. the stylists and staff are very knowledgeable . My skin,thank-you Emma, and hair, thank you Troy, Janelle,Gretchen,Judy, Claudette, Ashley, and Kathleen. Each of you gives my style a different flair, which is fun.
Massages are wonderful. Francis and Tag are excellent. They make you feel like a whole new person when they are done. After massages, you wear a long comfy robe and get served cookies, strawberries and herbal tea to relax before your shower.
Lee is an expert at manicures and pedicures. The polish selection is exceptional, and Lee will sometimes combine shades to get the exact one of your dreams. Be sure to book ahead.
Kudos to dean who keeps everything running so smoothly. He is very hands on and always available for input. He even offered a "Blow Dry 101" class, so customers could learn from the stlists how to style their own hair.....and some tricks of the trade. It was so much fun. Veggies, cheeses, crackers, refreshments, and a time to relax or chat. I hope he offers more of these.
The girls at the desk are absolute schedualing angels. They are also knowledgeable in all salon products. The only problem i have here,is that i don't want to leave. Days of fun await you here.
