Herb Chambers MINI of Boston is a Chambers of Horror. $300 for an oil change is outrageous and me like a damn fool payed it. A couple of months ago on a Sunday I dropped my mighty Mini off because of a knock that the dealer couldn't duplicate. In the mean time thinking it was still under warranty an oil change and break fluid was changed to the tune of $285. In the mean time they put on the receipt that the oil light was on which it wasn't and they didn't set the next maintenance light. So in 1400 miles the light will go on without needing anything. When the Mini had under three years and under 30,000 miles Mark, the Mini service manager treated me like I was someone and work was completed with no problems and it was FREE. Would I bring it back?. Hell no! It's still under drive train warranty for another 15,000 miles. In the mean time I'll bring it to Don Astin in Hopedale, MA, the best mechanic I've ever brought my cars to. Don't let Chamber grab you by the short hairs. They're only after your hard earned money.

I've purchased two vehicles from Herb Chambers, a Vespa, an Infiniti G35x, and this weekend I purchased my third vehicle, a MINI Cooper Clubman. I worked with Darnell and Giovanni and I have to tell you, they took amazing care of me, gave me a really good deal (granted, they had to put up with a lot of my grinding and haggling), and since purchasing the car they've followed up with me each day to make sure I'm 100% happy. The thing about Herb Chambers, that you just don't find at most other dealerships, is integrity and trust. I know that when I walk into Herb Chambers that I'm not going to be taken advantage of or get an earful of crap. Car sales is a tough job, and I don't know what Herb does to maintain such high standards, but it works. Giovanni registered very very low on my BS meter and I trusted him to follow through with my requests. Ultimately, I highly recommend Herb Chambers MINI of Boston, Giovanni, and Darnell.
