Something Savory is the best restaurant in Boston! It has something for everyone, and Johnny (the cook) is headed for great things.

My family have been eating at Something Savory from the day they opened. It's a wonderful neighborhood restaurant that I hope just the right amount of out-of-towners learn about. Depending on my mood, I can choose from a light salad, plateful of mussels, or wonderful fish dish. The vegetable and rice sides are a meal in themselves. I love the seasonings and spices. I've never had a mediocre meal. Johnny's hamburgers are one of the best in town! Service is always friendly and it's great to see the owners (and their new sidekick) at the restaurant on many evenings. I also use them for business catering. Enjoy!

This food was by far the best I have found in the greater Boston area. I've been searching for a really good restaurant here for a couple of years (tried all the supposedly incredible food giants) and Something Savory is just on another level completely. The ambiance is delightful, and the service is wonderful, though that's hard to notice once you taste your food! It is definitely my go-to restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

The food was good. The execution a little uneven (my meal was a little overcooked, while my wife's was perfect). The decor is nice, and the size is tiny. The kitchen is visible from the dining room, which is nice, but the chef looked a little stressed. All in all, it was a pleasant evening, and the food was better than average, but perhaps a little below what one would expect for the prices. We will go back, if not just to give them another chance to become our favorite.
